Project Period: July 2023 – Ongoing
Since 2020, The Noble Hands Zimbabwe Trust has been a mission to protecting and improving the lives of persons with albinism (PWA) in the Southern Region of Zimbabwe. Through our ongoing initiatives, we address the heightened risks of skin cancer faced by PWA due to prolonged exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
As part of our continuous support, we provide free protective resources produced in-house, including:
These items are distributed directly to PWA in rural and urban communities, helping to prevent skin damage and promote sun safety.
In addition, we support medical treatments for PWA diagnosed with skin cancer, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent access to life-saving care. All of these efforts are made possible through crowd funding campaigns, which have been empowering our mission since 2020 and has raised over (USD 100 000.00) worth of support.
Through this ongoing project, The Noble Hands Zimbabwe Trust continues to stand with PWA, combining prevention, care, and community education to improve health outcomes, dignity, and safety.
Join us in supporting this life-saving work every contribution helps us protect those most vulnerable to the dangers of the sun.
