As a human rights-based organisation Noble Hands Zimbabwe Trust we advocate for inclusive policies, equal opportunities, and social justice for women, youth, girls, and persons with albinism across Zimbabwe. Our advocacy work is rooted in the belief that sustainable development is only possible when marginalised voices are heard, protected, and empowered.
We advocate for inclusive, responsive, and accountable policies that protect the rights of vulnerable and marginalised groups. Our work engages government institutions, local authorities, traditional leaders, and policymakers to ensure that laws, strategies, and budgets reflect the lived realities of women, youth, girls, and persons with albinism. We promote policy reforms that advance health equity, education access, decent work, social protection, and protection from discrimination and violence.
Access to healthcare is a fundamental human right. The Noble Hands Zimbabwe Trust advocates for equitable, affordable, and albinism-sensitive health services, with a strong focus on skin cancer prevention and treatment. We work to remove financial, social, and systemic barriers that prevent women, youth, girls, and persons with albinism from accessing quality healthcare, particularly in underserved rural communities.
Education is a powerful tool for empowerment and social transformation. We advocate for inclusive and safe education systems that support girls, young women, and learners with albinism to remain in school and thrive. Our advocacy addresses barriers such as stigma, poverty, disability exclusion, and gender inequality, while promoting access to life skills, vocational training, and digital literacy for youth.
The Trust promotes economic justice and decent work opportunities for women, youth, and persons with albinism. We advocate for inclusive employment policies, entrepreneurship support, and skills development that enable marginalised groups to participate meaningfully in local and national economies. Our work challenges workplace discrimination and promotes equal access to livelihoods and income-generating opportunities.
We believe that sustainable change is driven by empowered communities. Our advocacy strengthens the leadership, participation, and decision-making power of women, youth, girls, and persons with albinism. Through community mobilisation and civic engagement, we support marginalised groups to claim their rights, influence public processes, and hold duty bearers accountable.
The Noble Hands Zimbabwe Trust addresses intersecting forms of discrimination based on gender, age, disability, and albinism. We advocate for gender-responsive and socially inclusive approaches that protect girls and women from violence, harmful practices, and exclusion, while promoting dignity, safety, and equality.
Climate change is a justice issue. Rising temperatures, extreme heat, and environmental degradation increase health risks and economic insecurity, especially for persons with albinism, in the communities. The Noble Hands Zimbabwe Trust advocates for climate justice approaches that prioritise those most affected by climate impacts. We promote community-led climate adaptation solutions, environmental protection, and equitable access to resources that reduce exposure to climate-related risks, including harmful UV radiation and heat stress.
Through sustained advocacy, partnerships, and community-led action, The Noble Hands Zimbabwe Trust continues to champion a Zimbabwe where women, youth, girls, and persons with albinism enjoy equal rights, full participation, and access to opportunities free from discrimination and preventable harm.
